Elon Musk has declared his company Neuralink has implanted its first Brain Computer Interface (BCI) chip into a human. 

A brain-computer interface (BCI) is a system that connects a human brain to a computer or other device.

Neuralink, founded by Elon Musk in 2016, is a company developing implantable brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) that aim to bridge the gap between the human brain and digital devices. 

The Neuralink chip is like a tiny, secretive marvel. Picture a small coin-shaped thing on your brain with super-thin threads and an antenna.

HOW DOES IT WORK?? 

This technology works like a bridge between brain and chip by translating brain signals into digital actions. Tiny threads with electrodes implanted in the brain will collect electrical activity from the neurons , this collected data will then get amplified, converted, and sent wirelessly to a receiver, then to a computer for decoding. 

Finally, the system translates the user's intent into action, controlling prosthetic limbs, typing words, or even stimulating brain areas for therapeutic purposes.

The implantation process of BCI in the brain is done with the help of a specialized surgical robot developed by the company itself.
